Congratulations Corporal Rosa Quinones On Your Retirement

Congratulations and Good Luck Corporal Rosa Quinones! Rosa retired after 27 years in law Enforcement.

Rosa began her law enforcement career in 1986 with the Hollister Police Department; she was promoted to Corporal on December 24, 1992.

She was hired by the Gilroy Police Department on May 1, 1995; she was promoted on July, 3, 2000.

Rosa-2During her employment with the Gilroy Police Department Rosa has been a member of the following teams:

  • Hostage Negotiation Team
  • Critical Incident Response Team
  • Anti-Crime Team
  • Bike Patrol
  • Peer Support Team Coordinator
  • Recruiting Team
  • Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.)

She has held the following positions:

  • Missing Persons Detective
  • Field Training Officer
  • Explorer Advisor
  • Gilroy PD representative for the Police Victims Relations Committee, South County Domestic Violence Committee, and Project 4 Greenbook Project.
  • ABC/Tobacco Special OPS Liaison
  • Avoid the 13 Campaign Coordinator

Rosa will continue as a reserve Police Officer with the Gilroy Police Department.
